About Me

Welcome to my Blog! This blog was created in hopes to inspire others to be their best self and find true inspiration through God and the Scriptures. As a newly proclaimed Christian, I have been on an awesome journey this past year… getting to know God’s word better and applying it to my life.

As a forty-something Mom of both a happy and energetic seven-year old son and an almost twenty-four year old daughter, who is just discovering what the “real world” can be like, I can safely say I have been through a lot of different “seasons” in my parental journey. Finding the tools I need to weather those said “seasons” have been quite challenging many days. The only thing I have found that I can draw hope and inspiration from is God’s word.

I do not claim to have all the answers, but I do believe this past year has given me an inner strength that I haven’t had before and that has motivated me to start this blog. You see, I am a writer by nature. It is something that has always come pretty natural to me. But, unfortunately, I haven’t been very good at using this gift and wish to make that change here and now. I invite you to come on my journey. And thank you for taking your time to read my thoughts and it is my hope that they provide inspiration to throw out your net!

  1. Love, love, LOVE!! Way to throw your net and trust God with the first step!! So proud of you sister – keep up your efforts. Thank you for your tenacity and perseverance and inspiring me to be a “doer” of the word and not just a “hearer.” Can’t wait to see where God leads you and what you write about next!!

  2. Great job Neeners!! I finally figured out how to navigate getting into the blog and read it. Thank you for your courage to follow Christ’s leading and do the work. You are such an encouragement to me to put in the effort of my journey but also to speak out, to share the blessings that God has given me with those that don’t know the blessings exist.
I’m studying Joshua, the prophet God chose to continue leading the Israelites on their journey out of the wilderness to the Promised Land. It is such a testament to faith and really choosing what path you want to follow, God’s path or the worlds. I choose God!
God bless you, keep up the good work!!
    Love You!

    1. Thank you so much, Aunt Kathy! I appreciate your encouragement and kind words. It’s been wonderful for me to get back into writing and for the longest time, I’ve felt overwhelmed with my busy schedule and finding the time to fit it in. I didn’t want to take less time from being in the Word to write, and then I had this “nudging” to start this blog. And after taking the steps to begin it, all of these amazing signs started to pop up all around me letting me know this is where I should be right now. I really feel God leading me & it’s so nice to be in a place where I can share Him with others.
Enjoy your study of Joshua. And here’s to following the path!
      Love you,
      ~ Jeanine
